GatorLand Florida is a unique and special encounter for Florida residents and tourists alike. Here at GatorLand you can have an up close and personal encounter with some of the worlds most powerful animals. The Florida Alligator is rarely seen, because of the booming and bustling Florida society the alligators have naturally retreated to secluded areas of the lakes. GatorLand allows you to stand just feet away as these massive gators demonstrate their amazing strength and reflexes to you!
Alligators aren't the only animal that GatorLand showcases. Inside you can find a wide variety of unique Floridian animals. From snakes to turtles, birds and fish, GatorLand is home to an abundance of incredible animals and now you can get some incredible face to face encounters with these awesome creatures. Upon entering the park you will instantly become confronted with the opportunity to hold a small alligator or snake. This is a perfect photo opportunity, impress all your friends back home with a picture of yourself holding a baby alligator!
GatorLand also has a wide variety of demonstrations, just before the park closes you can watch the alligator jumping show. Stringing pieces of meat above the water you can watch as alligators launch themselves out of the water to catch these scraps of meat between their jaws. During the day you can watch alligator wrestlers, men who pick a formidable sized alligator, drag it out of the water and hold it down so you can get a good look at the power of its jaws and all its features. One of GatorLand's most popular shows is the snake show, where the park handlers show you a bunch of the worlds rarest snakes! During this show some guests even get to hold these amazing animals!
